The Skunk device was designed to track assets where no GSM network exists
This means the Skunk can be used literally anywhere in the world, from tracking an elephant in the Namib desert, a ship in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, to an aircraft in Afghanistan or a person in the middle of the DRC’s rainforest.
The Skunk relays information and its position via communication satellites to TrackLocate’s server which can be set up to perform a range of functions depending on individual/company requirements.
The Skunk unit also comes in the form of a battery powered man-pack weighing only 600 grams.
