How TrackLocate users the funds collected

As set out and regulated by common law and the Trust Property Control Act 57 of 1988, all funds raised, collected, and disseminated are put into a not for profit trust fund, which is used only for the promotion, implementation and research associated with the tracking, and collaring of animals for the sole purpose of research and nature conservation

**How LifeTracx / TrackLocate is helping**

In conjunction with various researchers aids in the research and conservation of the great African elephant . Research such as the migration routes, and general wild behavior aids these institutions to better understand the Elephants, and the provided proper conserving thereof.

TrackLocate supplies the tracking units and does the tracking for these institutions. The equipment consists of a collar, that is fitted around the neck of the elephant equipped with a satellite transmitter, that transmits the elephant's position, and is communicated to the central server. The devices , are expensive to fit and to maintain.
